- WWE's website notes that Rob Van Dam missed last night's Battleground pay-per-view because he was injured. They promised an update to come. We noted before that word going around Battleground was that RVD missed the show due to a medical reason.
- Viktor of WWE NXT Tag Team Champions The Ascension tweeted the following about The Usos after they retained their titles at Battleground last night:
"Battle at it's finest. @WWEUsos gave it their all but I hope they saved some for us!! #WWEBattleground"
- Former WWE star Giant Silva turns 51 years old today and former WWE star Shawn Stasiak turns 44. Also, today would have been the 85th birthday of Bob Orton Sr.
