Just two weeks before his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame, Jake "The Snake" Roberts will head to Harford County, Maryland to compete in the ring for Maryland Championship Wrestling's Tag Wars 2K14 this Saturday. Roberts will team with former MCW Tag Team Champions Adam Flash & Ronnie Zukko to take on J.P. Callahan's stable of Mustafa Aziz Daniels, Mitch Miller & Paul White. Roberts, former WWE Diva Kelly Kelly and Colt Cabana will also be appearing at the pre-show fan fest from 5:30 to 7:30pm. - Also this Saturday, AJ Styles will face Chris Hero at ROH Flyin' High at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Dayton, OH. You can purchase tickets here.
- As noted earlier, Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling will be running two joint shows in May; "Global Wars" on May 10th in Toronto, and "War of the Worlds" on May 17th in New York City. ROH announced that the legendary Jushin "Thunder" Liger will be appearing at both events.
- ROH also announced that "The FUTURE OF HONOR" will debut at the Big Spring Event Center at 2 Chestnut St in Newville, PA at 7:30pm on Friday, April 18th. The event will allow ROH prospects the opportunity to compete in the ring in officially sanctioned ROH matches. Expect 8 big matches consisting exclusively of ROH seminar/try-out students, ROH Dojo graduates, as well as ROH Wrestlers Jay Lethal, The Briscoes, and ROH World Champion Adam Cole.
