- Atlanta Hawks point guard Jeff Teague did an interview with NBA.com about being a wrestling fan, which you can check out here. During the interview, Teague talked about The Undertaker's streak being his favorite in sports besides Kyle Korver's three point streak, and was not happy that it ended.
"I am mad about that. I can't believe they did that, man," Teague said. "They could have picked somebody better than that [Lesnar]. The could've got CM Punk, anybody. But I think it was a mistake. I don't think it was supposed to happen like that."
- Political and sports polling aggregation website FiveThirtyEight.com, which is owned by ESPN and gained a lot of attention for correctly predicting the 2012 presidential election, has an article here about wrestlers dying young. The article noted that 33% of the talent on the WrestleMania VI card is now dead. However, they used Miss Elizabeth for that calculation, while not including Bobby Heenan, Jimmy Hart, Lanny Poffo, Mr. Fuji, Virgil and Slick on the list of talent that are still alive. If you also include Paul Roma and The Brooklyn Brawler, who worked the dark match, the percentage drops to 27%, which is still scary.
