- Jim Ross joined Matthew Aaron and guest co-host former WWE Diva Victoria (Lisa Marie Varon) this past Thursday evening on The Matthew Aaron Show to discuss his one man show, his weekly podcast and much more. During the interview, JR discussed the controversy surrounding Jeff Jarrett leaving the WWE while holding the Intercontinental title in 1999. Jarrett was supposedly slated to drop the title to Chyna at No Mercy on October 16, 1999, however his contract expired the day before. Jarrett was rumored to have taken a big payoff to drop the belt to Chyna, although Jarrett later claimed that he had only been paid what was already owed to him by the company.

JR admitted that the issue happened under his watch, and that he learned a lot from the ordeal. He said that he thought he had a verbal deal with Jarrett to extend his contract. Ross said that Jarrett showed up at the pay-per-view and that there was a "power play," and if it happened today, he would have just had him leave the company and vacate the title.

- As noted earlier, Mick Foley noted on his Facebook page that he will make an important announcement this Tuesday afternoon about his future.

"I know that not everyone will agree with, or support the decision, but I do hope the decision will be respected," Foley wrote.
