- The dark match before tonight's WWE SmackDown tapings in Pittsburgh saw Cody Rhodes and Goldust defeat NXT Tag Team Champions The Ascension when Goldust pinned Viktor.

- Roman Reigns vs. Kane has been announced for Friday's SmackDown. As noted, Sheamus vs. Bray Wyatt has also been announced for Friday's show.
