- Solomon Crowe defeated Travis Tyler in the dark match before tonight's WWE NXT tapings at Full Sail University.

- On the July 24th episode of NXT, Tag Team Champions The Ascension will announce a tournament to crown new #1 contenders. That tournament kicks off on the August 7th episode and we will have more information later.

- WWE taped three weeks of NXT at tonight's tapings, instead of four like they usually do. This will carry them through August 14th. The next set of NXT tapings is on July 31st and that will carry them through September 11th, when another set of tapings will be held. There are no tapings in August.
