* Jack Swagger vs. Cesaro kicks off SmackDown. Swagger wins with the Patriot Lock. Rusev and Lana come out after the match for a promo. Zeb responds and the challenge is accepted. Swagger vs. Rusev is on for SummerSlam.

* Randy Orton comes out and cuts a promo on Roman Reigns. He challenges Reigns to a match at SummerSlam.

* Kane and Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose in a handicap match is announced for later.

* R-Truth beat Bo Dallas by disqualification when Bo wouldn't break at the 5 count. Bo beat Truth down after the bell and cut a promo.

* AJ Lee squashes Rosa Mendes by submission. Paige attacks AJ at the top of the ramp and lays her out. Officials check on AJ as Paige skips away.

* Kane and Seth Rollins beat Dean Ambrose by DQ when Ambrose hit Kane with a steel chair. Rollins runs away as Ambrose hits Kane a few more times.

* We see AJ Lee being taken away on a stretcher with a neck brace on.

* Fandango vs. Diego with Summer Rae and Layla is next. Diego gets the win when the Divas distract Fandango.

* Dolph Ziggler vs. Alberto Del Rio with The Miz on commentary is next. Miz interrupts the match by standing on the announce table and mocks Ziggler. Ziggler goes after him but Miz gets away. Del Rio takes advantage and hits the cross armbreaker on Ziggler for the win.

* Erick Rowan vs. Chris Jericho is the main event. If Jericho wins, Rowan is banned from ringside at SummerSlam. The referee sends Luke Harper to the back and Jericho wins with the Codebreaker. Bray Wyatt attacked Jericho but that may have been part of the dark main event, we're not sure yet.

* Lilian Garcia comes out to sing the Canadian National Anthem to kick off SmackDown.

* Lana and Rusev open SmackDown by coming to the ring for an anti-Canadian promo. Roman Reigns comes through the crowd to a big pop. Reigns cuts a promo and says he won't be crushed. Lana says Reigns should be afraid. Reigns says, "you're telling ME to be afraid?!" Things get heated but referees get in between them before they start fighting. Lana backs Rusev off.

* Cameron vs. AJ Lee is next. Cameron tries to walk out but Naomi comes from behind and throws her back in the ring. AJ gets the win with a Shining Wizard. Naomi and Cameron have a staredown.

* Renee Young interviews Randy Orton. Orton says he doesn't care what Roman Reigns thinks and all he thinks about is what's best for business. Orton says he's going to introduce Chris Jericho to the Legend Killer tonight.

* Adam Rose comes out with Summer Rae. Rose vs. Fandango is next. Layla and Summer start fighting outside of the ring as soon as the match starts. Fandango eventually goes to split them up but gets counted out. Fandango argues with the referee as Rose celebrates. Rose comes from behind and hits the Party Foul.

* Heath Slater comes out next to a pop and Titus O'Neil joins him. WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos are out next for a non-title match. The Usos get an easy win. Byron Saxton interviews The Usos in the ring. Our correspondent said it was a very boring try at comedy by The Usos.

* Chris Jericho comes out to a big pop. After his entrance, Bray Wyatt appears on the big screen and gets a "whole world in his hand" chant going. Randy Orton is out next. This was described as a really entertaining match. The match ends when Jericho hits the Lionsault and as he's pinning Orton, the Wyatt Family graphic flashes on the big screen. Orton takes advantage of Jericho being distracted and hits a RKO for the win.

* Layla vs. Summer Rae with Fandango as special referee, a rematch from Money In the Bank is next. Summer kisses Fandango and then Layla does, causing Fandango to dance. Fans hum Fandango's theme and he keeps dancing. Summer and Layla both attack Fandango. The segment ends with Fandango sitting on the stage in disbelief as Layla and Summer have apparently decided to team up now. They show off and dance.

* Goldust defeated Ryback. Curtis Axel and Stardust were at ringside. Stardust got reactions from the crowd throughout the match. Ryback attacks Goldust after the match and as he's about to hit Shellshocked, Stardust blows the gold dust in in Ryback's face.

* Bo Dallas vs. Diego and El Torito in a Handicap Match is next. Bo pins Diego for the win and then attacks Torito, laying him out with a running Bo-dog.

* Rusev vs. Roman Reigns is the main event, said to be a pretty good match. Rusev dominated most of the match. Reigns hit the Superman punch and was about to hit the spear but Randy Orton attacked from behind, causing the match to end in a disqualification. Rusev hits his superkick on Reigns and is about to crush him when Lana stops him and they leave. Orton waits for Reigns to get up and hits the RKO. Orton goes to spear Reigns but Reigns gets up and spears him first to end SmackDown.

* Bad News Barrett comes out, insulting Pittsburgh sports teams and some of their legendary players. Dean Ambrose gets the win with Dirty Deeds. After the match, Jack Swagger runs out and attacks Barrett. Ambrose lays Swagger out with a ladder. Seth Rollins runs in through the crowd, threw Ambrose off the steps and nailed a curb stomp. Barrett ended up taken to the back after an apparent shoulder injury.

* Paige defeated Cameron. After the match, Cameron tried to pick another fight with Paige.

* They air a video for Connor The Crusher.

* Sheamus vs. Bray Wyatt is next. Sheamus won by disqualification when Erick Rowan and Luke Harper broke up a Cloverleaf that Bray was locked in. The Usos ran out to make the save and celebrated with Sheamus.

* Dolph Ziggler and Rob Van Dam vs. Cesaro and Alberto Del Rio is next with Paul Heyman on commentary. Del Rio gets the win for his team with a cross armbreaker on RVD. After the match, Cesaro laid Del Rio out.

* Rusev and Lana come out for an anti-American promo before Rusev squashes Sin Cara. There's a glitch as Big E's video plays earlier than it's supposed to but he comes out and cuts a promo. Big E and Rusev meet in the middle of the ring but Lana calls Rusev away. Rusev tries to attack Big E from behind but Big E sees him coming and knocks Rusev out of the ring.

* Roman Reigns vs. Kane ends in a DQ when Randy Orton interrupts right before Reigns spears Kane. Reigns spears Orton instead. Kane chokeslammed Reigns and set up a ladder. He allowed Orton to climb up and pose with the titles. Orton goes to punt Reigns but gets speared. Kane also gets speared. Reigns poses with the titles to end SmackDown.

* Backstage segment with Summer Rae sneaking in a kiss on Fandango. Layla sees this and starts crying.

* Bo Dallas vs. Fandango is next. A brawl breaks out between Summer Rae and Layla during the match, leading to Layla accidentally kicking Fandango and Bo getting the win. After the match, Bo gave a pep talk to Fandango.

* Bray Wyatt cuts a promo backstage about winning the WWE World Heavyweight Title at Money In the Bank.

* Sheamus, Roman Reigns and John Cena defeated Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton, Alberto Del Rio and Cesaro. The whole match was built around Reigns getting the hot tag. Reigns pinned Del Rio for the win.

* Bray Wyatt vs. Dean Ambrose in a Money In the Bank qualifying match is next. Bray controlled a good part of the match. This was described as a crazy physical match. Seth Rollins came out to screw Ambrose and Wyatt hit Sister Abigail for the win. Wyatt qualifies for Money In the Bank. This appears to be when SmackDown went off the air.

* Jimmy Uso vs. Bray Wyatt in a Last Man Standing match will take place later.

* Paul Heyman comes out and reminds us that Brock Lesnar ended The Undertaker's Streak. Heyman joins commentary as Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett and United States Champion Sheamus come out for their match. This match was described as a must-see brawl. There were big "Let's go Sheamus, Bad News Barrett" dueling chants. Sheamus got the win after a finishing sequence that was described as "amazing."

* Big E came out with an American flag and squashed Titus O'Neil. Before they began, Lana interrupted and cut a promo on Big E and America. They got huge heel heat and USA chants, according to our correspondent. She and Rusev watched the match from ringside.

* Adam Rose came out to his biggest pop yet, except for the UK, according to our correspondent. Rose went on to defeat Jack Swagger in a match and taunt Zeb Colter some more.

* Bray Wyatt vs. Jimmy Uso in a Last Man Standing match is next. This match gets the first CM Punk chants of the night. This was described as a good physical match. Wyatt destroyed Uso in front of the announce table and got the win to end SmackDown.

* Vickie Guerrero comes out to the ring to big heat. She's interrupted by Adam Rose and the Rosebuds. They dance their way to the ring but only Rose enters. Rose tells Vickie not to be a lemon, but to be a Rosebud. This segment was described as fun and our correspondent said Vickie played along.

* John Cena is out with The Usos for their main event. Bray Wyatt is out with Erick Rowan and Luke Harper. The Usos get the win in a 10 minute match. Our correspondent noted that the match had a bad ending. The Wyatt Family ended up taking The Usos out and beating Cena down to end SmackDown.

* Natalya vs. Nikki Bella is next with Eva Marie as the special referee. Our correspondent says Eva can't ref any better than she can wrestle. Nikki got the win after what was described as a botchfest.

* Dolph Ziggler talks to Renee Young and cuts a backstage promo on Batista. He says Batista is the weak link of Evolution and tonight he will show him up.

* Batista vs. Dolph Ziggler is next. Ziggler comes out first followed by Batista to the Evolution theme. Ziggler wins by disqualification after Batista hits him with a low blow. Ziggler then takes a Batista Bomb. Batista beats Ziggler around the ringside area and comes back to powerbomb him onto the barrier.

* Sheamus is out first followed by Titus O'Neil. Titus asks how Sheamus can be United States Champion when he's not even from the US. Titus calls Sheamus a funny color "hot mayonnaise white." The match starts and Sheamus gets the very quick win with a Brogue Kick.

* Santino Marella and Emma come out for a match against Damien Sandow. Santino wins a quick squash with the Cobra. After the match, Sandow cuts a promo about how he's always handcuffed but is a "good little soldier." The mic gets cut out on him. He walks up the ramp acting like his hands are cuffed behind his back, saying he's being held back.

* R-Truth comes out to a big pop as he's from Charlotte. Paul Heyman is out next for a promo. Cesaro vs. R-Truth starts. Cesaro wins a short match with the Neutralizer.

* John Cena is out for the main event. The Wyatt Family comes out and surrounds the ring but The Usos run out to even the odds. Bray picks Erick Rowan to face Cena tonight. Cena wins with the Attitude Adjustment. SmackDown ends with Bray staring Cena down from the ramp.

* Dean Ambrose vs. Sheamus for the WWE United States Title is up first. Sheamus gets the win clean with a Brogue Kick. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins were not at ringside. This was a good match with the crowd behind Ambrose. Ambrose did a dive out of the ring at one point and barely made it in before the 10 count.

* Cesaro and Bad News Barrett vs. Rob Van Dam and Big E is next. Paul Heyman is on commentary. Barrett runs down climate change on way to the ring and says like Big E, when the storms hit, he will be forgotten. Crowd is behind RVD and there are some Barrett chants. Cesaro pins Big E after hitting his finisher. Before that, RVD accidentally kicked Big E in the head. The match lasted less than 5 minutes.

* We get a Daniel Bryan vs. Kane recap from Extreme Rules.

* Lana comes out and says America should change and follow Vladimir Putin. Rusev squashes Kofi Kingston. Kofi got in little offense. A loud USA chant broke out during the match.

* The Wyatt Family appears on the big screen. Bray Wyatt rambles about John Cena.

* A Bo Dallas vignette airs.

* Fandango and Layla defeated Santino Marella and Emma when Layla rolled up Emma.

* Roman Reigns vs. Mark Henry is next. Reigns lifted Henry over his shoulders to show his strength and then dropped him into a Samoan Drop. Reigns hit a spear for the win.

* Los Matadores come out with El Torito to a big pop. They're going to face Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre and Hornswoggle. Torito pins Slater for the clean win.

* Seth Rollins vs. Batista is next. Crowd chants "you can't wrestle" at Batista. Rollins tried a baseball slide, but Batista scouted it and got some offense in. Batista with a few more power moves including throwing Rollins into the steps and then back into the ring. Batista hits huge suplex and is being methodical. CM Punk chants start. Rollins turns the tables and gets going. Rollins runs into spinebuster. Rollins counters Batista Bomb and Batista rolls to the outside. Rollins launches over the top rope and lands it. The second time he comes from the top rope, Batista sees it coming and sidesteps it. Rollins hits the table. Batista rolls in ring, wins by count out.

* After the match, Batista hits a Batista Bomb on Rollins as fans boo. Rollins sells an injury.

* The Wyatt Family vs. The Usos and John Cena is next. The crowd was more pro-Cena than not. There was also a loud Usos chant. The match ends when a big brawl breaks out on the floor. One of the Usos gets hit with the lariat by Luke Harper for the clean win. Cena cuts a promo against The Wyatts after the match. He says Bray is afraid and didn't get the pinfall, he got his goons to get the win for him. SmackDown ends.

* Daniel Bryan comes out to a big pop and he's still wearing the neck brace. He cuts a promo on Kane and their match at Extreme Rules. The pyro goes off and Kane appears on the big screen. They had a glitch and the first 10 or 15 seconds of his promo had no audio.

* The Wyatt Family vs. The Usos and Sheamus is up next. The crowd was said to have been 50/50 for each team. Bray Wyatt hits Sister Abigail on Jey Uso for the win. After the match, Bray, Sheamus, Erick Rowan and Jimmy Uso fight outside of the ring while Luke Harper beats on Jey in the ring. The Wyatts pose over Jey to end the match.

* Dolph Ziggler vs. Damien Sandow is up next. Sandow comes out dressed as Magneto again. Ziggler gets the win.

* Lilian Garcia informs us that Rusev wants a rematch against R-Truth so he gets it. It ends the same way, with Xavier Woods interfering and causing a DQ. The actual finish was different and this may have been a re-tape.

* Big E defeated Titus O'Neil by DQ when Titus wouldn't break a 5 count. Big E took a nasty table bump during the match but looked to be ok. They had a crazy brawl after the DQ and Titus got beat up bad.

* Dean Ambrose defeated Ryback, Curtis Axel and Alberto Del Rio in a Fatal 4 Way to retain the United States Title. Ryback had the match won but Axel pulled him out of the ring. Axel went for the win but Ambrose pinned him. There's a fight after the match. The Shield comes together and hits a triple powerbomb on Axel to end SmackDown.
